Ruth Duckworth: A Life in Clay is an intimate documentary on this 83-year-old working ceramist. Duckworth is a survivor who, having fled Hitler's Germany, studied at the Liverpool School of Art in England and taught at the University of Chicago. Her philosophy, "work comes from play," belies her complex vision, from ceramic sculpture to mural work. The 30-minute documentary is available in DVD and VHS formats.
