Young artist - Letter to the Editor

I have been doing art ever since I can remember, which would probably be 3 years old. Paper and pencil are probably my favorite art mediums, but I also like working with clay. I'm not that good with paint, but it's fun to use. I like art, it makes me feel good and it's a good pastime. I love the fine-arts program at school, where I have improved my painting skills. We have learned more than just drawing, painting, stuff like that--I learned how to do collages and a lot more.

Tons of people in my family are artists: my room, aunt, great-aunt, cousin, grandma and step-brother are all the people I can think of right now. They have very different mediums, though, like photography, drawing, clothing design and painting. In my family, I have two brothers, one sister and three pets (one rat, one cat and one fish).
