Last call for youngARTS 2008!

youngARTS[TM], which identifies and rewards exceptional student artists from across the nation, is accepting applications for its 2008 awards program. High school seniors or graduates who will be 17 or 18 years old this Dec. 1 are encouraged to apply. The final registration deadline is Oct. 1, with audition/portfolio materials due by Nov. 5, 2007.

Each year, youngARTS, the core program of the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts (NFAA), invites up to 150 artists to participate in youngARTS Week, a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Miami consisting of performances, master classes, workshops, readings, exhibits and enrichment activities with renowned artists and arts educators.
