Video/18 min./$69. Level. High School and Above. Lucerne Media, 37 Ground Pine Road, Morris Plains, NJ 07950, (800) 341-2293.
This video shows how to make full-color, one-of-a-kind prints using a variety of techniques, including natural and collage materials. The use of oil paints and water soluble colors is demonstrated with special emphasis on planning and preparing sketches before actually starting the print. Viewers will see how to make prints with or without a press, working with the limitation of a single class period. A variety of images--abstract and realistic--are presented. A good motivator for getting students into the world of making monoprints. For information about this program, circle No. 391 on the Reader Service Card.
