Arts & Activities, April, 2004 by Alex Peden
Art is my favorite time of day--it is a time when I can just relax and do what I do best. Ever since I can remember, I have always loved drawing from my imagination. When I started to take classes, I began to paint with acrylic and watercolor. I have just started to experiment with oil pastels and are getting pretty good at it. Art is very special for me and helps me just have fun. It helps that I have been surrounded by wonderful art teachers helping me to make me better.
I hope that when I become older, I will be able to attend a college that provides many opportunities for me to expand my knowledge and passion for art. For the rest of my life I will be doodling, and I will enjoy sitting with a blank piece of paper in front of me, thinking of what I will draw next.
