Autographs for Education
The national Sharpie Retractable Autographs for Education program enlists the help of professional athletes and celebrities to ask everyday people for their autographs. In exchange for collecting one million autographs, Sharpie will contribute $1 million in school supplies and funds to students, parents and teachers in communities across the country. Sharpie will embark on a 10-city tour, where high-profile personalities will host motivation assemblies, interact with students and request autographs. In turn, Sharpie will donate $10,000 in school supplies and funding to each school. Thirty elementary and middle schools will win $25,000 in school supplies, based on the schools who collect the most autographs between now and Dec. 31, 2005. Teachers can download entry forms for the autograph collection at www.sharpie.com. Also, students 13 and older can enter a sweepstakes to win a $50,000 scholarship or one of four $25,000 tuition plans, via mail or online submissions. Enter today!
