Artist Stephen Quiller leads students through each step of painting using different types of acrylics, including fluid and metallic acrylics. Students will be fascinated to see him use a variety of surfaces other than canvas, including gessoed canvas, rice paper, a wood panel and clayboard. Through a series of seven demonstrations, he shows a number of interesting approaches using acrylic paints to achieve transparent and luminous qualities.
