STORYBOARD TOYS offers educators "ArtHouse," the make-it-your-own toy building. ArtHouse is not a dollhouse; it's an art toy--simple and abstract--designed to display children's art on every inch of every wall. A wonderfully flexible teaching aid, ArtHouse can represent any kind of building.

Kids can redecorate it using any paper-based media and any artistic technique. ArtHouse's unique transparent plastic walls open up to accept letter-sized paper. Children can load their art themselves. Walls are magnetically attached and can be easily moved from location to location within the structure. Kids love creating their own miniature museums and galleries. Gender neutral and recommended for all creative children between the ages of 6 and 12, ArtHouse provides a platform for arts and crafts projects in all curriculums. Creating and labeling ArtHouse "storyboards" is a proven and efficient way to develop literacy, vocabulary and creative writing skills. Playing within the completed design projects makes lessons more memorable. Storyboard Toys displays student-created ArtHouse decorations in an online gallery at www.storyboard toys.com. Also provided are project ideas and free sample lesson plans. For more information, circle No. 386 on the Arts & Activities Reader Service Card.
