This fascinating video provides an intimate look and visual conversation with one of the great Pop artists, Roy Lichtenstein. He discusses his work, his artistic process and the sources of his inspiration. We see excellent close-ups of him at work and a number of his bold colorful paintings, his large-scale murals, his Reflections Series and his recent Interior Series. The video was filmed in his New York City and Southampton, Long Island studios as well as on location in Los Angeles and Rome. Also appearing and commenting on Lichtenstein are Diane Waldman of the Guggenheim, Kirk Varnedoe of the MoMA, Professor Robert Rosenblue of New York University and Lichtenstein's dealer, Leo Castelli.
