CRIZMAC ART & CULTURAL EDUCATION MATERIALS, INC. has received the Finalist Award in the New York Festival's 2001 Film and Video (Non-Broadcast) Competition in the category of Multicultural Education for the 2001 video Oaxacan Woodcarving: Innovation Meets Tradition. Crizmac is a third-time winner, having received this award in 1997 for Milagros: Symbols of Hope/Simbolos de Esperanza, and in 1998 for Island Worlds: Art & Culture in the Pacific, both in the category of Multicultural Education.
