PETER PUGGER MFG. has recently made an improvement in their vacuum deairing Pugger-Mixers. Not only do three of their five models mix, recycle scrap, vacuum de-air and pug, now they also feature variable speed output. The operator has total control of the speed of the extrusion. The extruding process is dialed in to the operator's exact requirements but can be altered in an instant during each extruding sequence.
A knob is used to control the speed of the motor, thus the Mix and Pug rate. This control is especially useful when extruding small objects through dies attached to the nozzle. The graduations on the nameplate show the percentage of full motor speed. Peter Pugger manufactures Pugger-Mixers with batch capacities 20 to 175 lbs., which offer superior engineering, high-quality industrial components and a complete two-year warranty. All models have a safety switch preventing operation when the hopper door is opened. For more information, circle No. 392 on the Arts & Activities Reader Service Card.
