Topic: RSS FeedShift gears with Very Special Arts and Volkswagen

Artists 16 through 25 of age are invited to apply for a national juried exhibit titled "Shifting Gears" For the fourth year, Volkswagen of America, Inc. and VSA (Very Special Arts) are presenting an opportunity for young artists with disabilities. The program encourages and recognizes emerging talent in the visual arts. Young artists with disabilities are asked to submit artwork in the form of slides for consideration in a touring exhibit. Finalists will be selected on aesthetic merit alone by a distinguished jury panel. The postmarked deadline for entries is July 15, 2005. All applicants will be notified by Friday, Aug. 26, 2005.
