With Pyrofoto Liquid Sensitizer, photos, drawings or computer scans can be kiln-fired onto glass or ceramic objects. The kit consists of ceramic stains in a photosensitive liquid emulsion. No darkroom or special equipment is needed--only sunlight or a halogen bulb for exposure. To apply, brush or roll onto the ceramic or glass piece. Let it dry, then expose through a transparency to create a fire-able color image. Pyrofoto is lead-free and dishwasher safe. The kit contains red, blue, yellow and black majolica colors that can be mixed for intermediate hues. Single colors are also available, along with a clear version in which users can incorporate their own ceramic stains.
