The Tokyo stock market recovered after the central Bank of Japan's drastic move to ease credit policy. The Nikkei jumped 7.5 percent Wednesday, its biggest rise in three years, and ended Friday with a 2.8 percent rise to 13214. However, other Japanese economic indicators, including the value of the yen and the amount of bad debt held by banks, remained gloomy.
