In "The Top 50 Retail Sites" [The List, December-January], numbers provided by Jupiter Media Metrix for unique visitors were listed incorrectly as "hits." Also, Web traffic figures for the Electronics, Flowers/Gifts and Household Goods categories were given in thousands, while other categories listed the actual numbers.

In "The Riddle of the Abandoned Shopping Cart" [December-January], Greenfield Online was incorrectly called Greenfield Survey.

"The Mobile Mystery Tour" [November] incorrectly identified Bob Olodort as the inventor of the Imax camera. In fact, J.P. Carson held the patent on the Imax rolling-loop projector, and Sylvan Goldiss built the first Imax cameras. Olodort served as a consultant on the development project.

In "The Phone as a Tracking Device?" [Traffic, November], we reported that the Federal Communications Commission ruled that wireless carriers can market location information without customers' approval. The decision was actually made by the 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.

In "The 10 Top-Funded E-Learning Companies in 2000" [Metrics, October] Cyrk Inc. was misspelled "Cyrx."
