Virgin Layoffs - Virgin Net - Company Operations - Brief Article

The United Kingdom's Virgin Net announced plans to restructure and lay off 25 percent of its staff by next year. Virgin Net, an entertainment and shopping portal, will be folded into the Virgin Group's umbrella site Virgin.com. Virgin Net previously had also offered Internet access to consumers, but that portion of the business was sold off earlier this year.
