The Finnish chemicals, food ingredients and feeds group Raisio Group Plc said today (1 August) that it had completed its previously announced acquisition of the remaining 50% of the shares of the paper coating group Latexia SA from Rhodia.
The transaction, which included Rhodia's paper latex assets in France, Spain, Indonesia and Brazil, made Raisio Chemicals the sole owner of Latexia.
The enterprise value of the transaction was said to be EUR75m.
Latexia employs 360 people in 12 countries and has an annual turnover of EUR200m.
