Incentive A/S issues profit warning

The Danish company Incentive A/S has issued a profit warning, saying that it expects its full-year net result to amount to a loss of approximately DKK1.1bn.

Incentive said that the US operations of its cleaning equipment business ALTO have realised sales and profits significantly below last year and that the company had decided to write down ALTO US's goodwill by DKK900-950m.

Excluding the goodwill write-down Incentive expects to post a loss of DKK160m, as compared to the previously forecast loss of DKK120m.
