The Finnish social democratic party conference took a cautious and sensible approach to the NATO issue that is good, according to Anneli Jatteenmaki of the centre party.
Jatteenmaki, who is a candidate for the chairmanship of her party, has said that it is best not to rush into NATO decisions at the moment and Finland has plenty of time to consider the options and make a decision.
