The Finnish-Swedish IT group TietoEnator Corporation said today (20 March) that it had agreed to acquire the customer information systems activities of ABB Energy Information Systems AB.
In connection with the deal TietoEnator would also acquire ABB Energy Information Systems' shares in the jointly-owned company Prototum AB, TietoEnator said.
The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
ABB Energy Information Systems' Customer Information Systems activities have 61 employees.
Prototum owns the intellectual rights to the customer handling system Elegansplus.
