The Swedish media group Bonnier AB has reportedly increased its holding in the commercial television channel TV4.
Bonnier acquired a million additional shares, increasing its stake in TV4 by 5% to a total of 21.7%, Reuters reported.
According to the Swedish financial newspaper Dagens Industri's online edition Bonnier acquired the shares from Modern Times Group MTG AB for a total of SEK200m. Through its stake in the Finnish media group Alma Media Bonniers now controls over 45% of the shares in TV4.
