The Danish analytical instruments manufacturer FOSS has selected Nokia's solutions to protect the transmission of sensitive data over its communications network.
Nokia has supplied FOSS with 20 of its Internet protocol network security appliances that run on Israeli-based Check Point Software Technologies' VPN-1/Firewall-1 software. The system was delivered by Nokia's Danish reseller Network Consult A/S.
The solution from Nokia is designed to provide secure access to FOSS' information systems for all staff, both in Denmark and in Europe, Asia and North America. The solution also covers FOSS' around 400 remote or home-based workers.
