Ericsson and Telecom New Zealand extend outsourcing agreement

The Swedish telecommunications solutions provider Ericsson said today (2 October) that it had received an extension to an existing outsourcing contract with Telecom New Zealand.
Under the extended contract Ericsson would manage Telecom New Zealand's TDMA network until 2007.
"The agreement represents a managed services contract with Ericsson responsible for managing the network, including monitoring and surveillance of the end-to-end-service network performance improvements, hardware support and coordinating field and maintenance staff," Ericsson said in a statement.
No financial details were disclosed.
