The Danish technology group GN Great Nordic said today (26 September) that its hands-free telecommunications technology unit GN Netcom had been appointed OEM (original equipment manufacturer) supplier of Bluetooth headsets by the German mobile phone maker Siemens.
"The new agreement is very important to GN, because it consolidates and expands GN Netcom's position as the world's leading headset manufacturer on the fast-growing market for quality headsets for cell phones," GN Great Nordic said in a statement.
GN Netcom has a similar agreement with Motorola.
