Finnish-Swedish telecomms operator TeliaSonera said today (15 April) that it had provided an IP-based telephony system to the Swedish municipality of Nassjo.
The solution was also mobile telephony integrated, and would provide connections in locations that are not connected to the municipality's data network, according to TeliaSonera.
The company said that with the new system all municipal employees would gain access to new services, such as the internal phone directory.
No financial information was provided.
