The Finnish service and engineering company KONE Corporation said on Friday (12 December) that its subsidiary Kalmar Industries had received an order for 10 ship-to-shore container cranes for the port of Antwerp in Belgium from MSC Home Terminal.
The contract was the largest ship-to-shore crane order ever booked by any crane supplier in Europe, according to KONE.
The cranes would be delivered by the core competence centre for Kalmar's ship-to-shore cranes in Rotterdam, the company added.
