Swedish telecomms solutions provider Ericsson said on Thursday (18 December) that its subsidiary Ericsson Mobile Platforms had signed a license agreement with the US digital media services and software company RealNetworks Inc.
Under the agreement, Ericsson would integrate the media engine of the RealOne Player, the Helix DNA Client, and the RealAudio and RealVideo codecs into its platforms offerings.
