Helsinki University is the most effective of the Finnish universities, according to a recent study.
The results reportedly show that Helsinki University is the most effective with regard to the results achieved for the money spent on teaching and research. Both exams and published work are counted as results.
The comparison was carried out at Turku University between 1981 and 2001, reported the Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat.
