The Swedish defence and technology group Saab said today (26 February) that its unit Saab Training Systems had received a United Kingdom Ministry of Defence contract for laser-based training equipment.
The contract, valued at approximately SEK20m, covered the Small Arms Transmitter BT47, alignment devices and observer/controller equipment, Saab said.
The equipment will be used by the British Army and Royal Air Force.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.07 British pounds (GBP).
