Finnish airline Finnair Oyj said today (24 January) that it had signed a shareholders' agreement with the Finnish wine and spirits house Altia Oyj on the founding of a new joint venture company.
Under the agreement Finnair would move its wine wholesale operations to the new company SkyCellar Oy, Finnair said.
Altia Oyj would own 80.1% of the company and Finnair's subsidiary Finnair Catering would own the remaining 19.9%.
Finnair said that SkyCellar Oy would supply Finnair with wines as Finnair Catering's subcontractor.
