The Finnish media group SanomaWSOY Oyj is reportedly to acquire a majority shareholding in the Hungarian weekly business newspaper HVG.
According to the Hungarian newspaper Vilaggazdag, the acquisition price would be some USD54m.
SanomaWSOY was said to currently own 32 Hungarian newspapers.
The news was provided by the online edition of the Finnish business newspaper Kauppalehti.
One US dollar (USD) is worth approximately 0.63 British pounds (GBP).
