SaabTech wins SEK90m development contract in Sweden

The Swedish high-tech group Saab said today (12 May) that its subsidiary SaabTech had received a SEK90m development contract from the Swedish defence forces.

The contract covered further development of the Swedish air defence system StriC and its customised air simulator Strics, Saab said.

The StriC air surveillance and tactical fighter control system has been in use with the Swedish air force since 1998.

One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.08 British pounds (GBP).
