The Finnish sports equipment company Amer Group Plc said on Wednesday (19 November) that its team sports division Wilson Team Sports would acquire the US pitching machines manufacturer Athletic Training Equipment Company Inc (ATEC) from the US sports equipment company Sport Supply Group Inc.
The acquisition was valued at USD10.5m.
One US dollar (USD) is worth approximately 0.6 British pounds (GBP).
