Finnish-Swedish IT company TietoEnator Corporation said on Tuesday (4 November) that it had completed the implementation of a software solution for secure electronic payments at the Latvian bank NORD/LB Latvija, a subsidiary of the German financial group Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB).
According to the company, NORD/LB Latvija was the first Baltic bank to offer acquiring services of Visa card products via the Internet using the 3D-Secure technology.
The solution was comprised of integrated software products from TietoEnator and the Finnish software company Modirum.
