Some 900 employees of the Finnish fibre and paper technology company Metso Paper's plant in Jyvaskyla in Finland have reportedly left their workplaces as a protest against the company's outsourcing plans.
The company has reportedly said that the strike was expected to last for two days, according to NewsRoom Finland.
Metso Paper is part of the Finnish process industry machinery and systems supplier Metso Corporation.
