TietoEnator signs outsourcing agreement with SaabTech

Finnish-Swedish IT company TietoEnator Corporation said on Wednesday (15 October) that it had signed an agreement with the Swedish high-technology group Saab AB's subsidiary SaabTech for the outsourcing of some of the company's IT operations.
Under the agreement TietoEnator would take over the operations, administration and user support for parts of SaabTech's IT environment, and as a result nine employees would transfer to TietoEnator and some 20-25 employees would be recruited in the different locations.
The business deal concerned the delivery of services for SaabTech's IT environment in Jarfalla, Kista, Jonkoping, Linkoping and Goteborg in Sweden.
The agreement would be valid for two and a half years, with the option of extension.
