The Swedish media group Bonnier AB said on Thursday (2 October) that its publishing unit Bonnier Books had acquired the German publishing group Econ/Ullstein/List.
The acquired group includes the publishing brands Propylaen, Claassen and Marion von Schroder. It has 100 employees and a turnover of approximately EUR60m.
The acquisition strengthens the position of Bonnier Books' German unit Bonnier Media GmbH and broadens its offering.
The acquisition price was not disclosed.
One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.7 British pounds (GBP).
