Scandinavian airline SAS is reportedly moving its maintenance operations for its MD-80 aircraft from Ireland to Oslo, Norway, and by doing so creating some 125 full-time jobs.
The maintenance work would involve comprehensive technical controls of the aircraft taken every 10 years.
According to the online edition of the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten, SAS would market its maintenance services to other airlines after its maintenance operations in Norway were up and running.
