Finnish-Swedish IT company TietoEnator Corporation said on Monday (27 October) that it had signed a contract with five municipalities in the Jyvaskyla region in Finland to supply information systems for social services.
The goal of introducing the same system in all locations would be to support regional cooperation in day care, home care, service housing for the elderly, social work and subsistence security, according to TietoEnator.

The entire system was scheduled to be running in 2005.
The five municipalities were the city of Jyvaskyla, the rural municipality of Jyvaskyla, and the municipalities of Korpilahti, Laukaa and Muurame.
