The Swedish high-technology group Saab said on Wednesday (10 September) that its subsidiary Saab Training Systems had been awarded a contract by the US company Raytheon-Lockheed Martin Javelin Joint Venture (USA) for the development of the Saab BT46 JAVELIN laser simulator.
The contract was valued at SEK100m, exclusive of options and support.
Raytheon-Lockheed Martin Javelin Joint Venture is the prime contractor for delivery of the complete JAVELIN Combat Weapon and Training system to the British Army.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.08 British pounds (GBP).
