The Norwegian oil company Statoil ASA said on Thursday (26 February) that it had signed a gas delivery agreement with the Dutch energy company Essent.
The agreement, signed for five years, covers the delivery of up to 1.4bn cubic metres per year through Statoil's terminal at Emden in Germany, Statoil said.
No financial details were provided.
