The management of the Flextronics plant in Pandrup, Denmark is reportedly investigating the possibilities of continuing the plant despite the loss of a large Siemens contract in April.

The loss of the contract means that most of the plant's 1,000 workers will have to go.

According to the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten the plant's US parent company Flextronics Group has proposed that the facilities would transfer to their current management and external investors in a management buy-out deal.

According to Jyllands-Posten the investors interested in the Pandrup plant would have to pay some DKK200m.

One Danish krone (DKK) is worth approximately 0.093 British pounds (GBP).
