Swedish telecomms solutions provider Ericsson has reportedly signed a contract with the Israeli mobile operator Cellcom for the delivery of a 3G (third generation) mobile network.
The value of the contract was estimated to be some USD60m.
Cellcom had said that another network provider might also join in the delivery of the first phase of the network, reported the online edition of the Finnish business daily Kauppalehti.
One US dollar (USD) is worth approximately 0.548 British pounds (GBP).
