Finnish telecomms operator TeliaSonera Finland (Sonera), part of the Finnish-Swedish TeliaSonera AB, will reportedly start filtering e-mailed spam for individual consumers and also for small and medium-sized companies.
The service would reportedly be free of charge for individual consumers.
Filtering of private e-mail was scheduled to start in mid-July 2004.
The goal is to ensure network and e-mail operability and to prevent spam-related problems, reported the Finnish news agency STT.
