Nokia extends its mobile software training programme

Finnish telecomms solutions provider Nokia announced on Monday (28 June) that its certified training programme in mobile software application development had been expanded to include Nokia Certified Training Centres in Finland, Korea and Australia, as well as California in the US.
The training programme was now offered in 11 countries around the world, the company added.
Professional training companies joining the programme would include FCS Partners (Finland), Hampex (Korea), Object Training (Australia) and IS Inc. (California).
Nokia said that the number of students participating in Nokia developer training was expected to double this year as interest in mobile software continues to grow around the world.
The company also announced that a self-study kit would be available from Nokia during the second half of 2004.
