Lassila & Tikanoja Oyj establishes joint venture with Finnish Road Enterprise

Finnish environmental management and property company Lassila & Tikanoja Oyj said on Friday (4 June) that it had agreed with the Finnish traffic services provider Finnish Road Enterprise to establish a new joint venture.
The joint venture would specialise in treatment services for industrial by-products, soil remediation and construction of landfill barrier systems.
Both companies would own 50% of the shares of the joint venture, called Salvor Oy, according to Lassila & Tikanoja.
The company said that Salvor had signed agreements on the acquisition of the soil remediation and groundwater protection business operations of Lohja Rudus Ymparistoteknologia Oy Ab and the business operations of the Environmental Services Unit of Finnish Road Enterprise.
The operations of Salvor would cover the whole of Finland.
