The Finnish process industry machinery and systems supplier Metso Corporation said on Wednesday (31 March) that its business area Metso Paper had received a contract to rebuild a paper machine at the Finnish-Swedish forest industry group Stora Enso's Whiting mill in Wisconsin in the US.
The EUR13m contract covers a rebuild of the press and dryer sections as well as a modification of the reel and the rereeler, Metso said.
The rebuild will improve the line's productivity and paper quality.
One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.7 British pounds (GBP).
