Finnish telecomms solutions provider Nokia said on Friday (5 March) that it had signed a frame agreement with the Finnish-Swedish telecomms operator TeliaSonera AB for the modernization and upgrade of its existing GSM/GPRS/EDGE Nokia network in the Nordic countries.
Under the agreement, Nokia was supplying its complete GSM, GPRS and EDGE systems, and would also provide installation and a range of care services using the Nokia NetAct support system.
The network upgrade would serve some eight million TeliaSonera subscribers in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, according to Nokia.
