Finnish-Swedish telecomms operator TeliaSonera AB said on Friday (7 May) that its Swedish subsidiary was acquiring the product portfolio and operation for customer-placed equipment from the Swedish multivendor on-site network services provider Flextronics Network Services.
The acquisition chiefly relates to office exchanges and LAN equipment, the company said.
The operation that TeliaSonera Sweden was now acquiring includes functions for product management, sales support, delivery, and technical support.
Some 130 people currently working at Flextronics Network Services would be offered employment with TeliaSonera Sweden, according to the company.
The acquisition price was not disclosed.
