Finnish telecomms solutions provider Nokia said on Wednesday (17 November) that the German postal company Deutsche Post had chosen Nokia One Business Server as mobile e-mail system for its global World Net.
The Nokia One Business Server enables Deutsche Post World Net to give selected employees secure wireless access to e-mail, no matter where they are and which mobile device they are using, according to the company.
As a central mobile messaging system, the Nokia One Business Server serves all areas of the business, functioning as an interface with over 400 decentralised mail servers, Nokia added.
The company said that Nokia One Business Server supports CDMA, GSM, CSD/HCSD and GPRS technologies.
